Festival Beach Community Garden
 Recently, we dedicated our time to volunteer at the Festival Gardens Community Gardens, where local folks can grow their own fresh vegetables and herbs. Local residents and volunteers keep the grounds maintained — and there’s a lot to maintain!
They placed us in an area that was overgrown and had many saplings that had to be excavated using special tools, shovels and an ax. It was physically draining (no gym needed that day!) ,but we left feeling good about what we had accomplished and grateful to be able to give back to our local community.
